I discovered Jean Charles's pictures by chance 7 years ago. The fantastic colour and dynamic energy of his paintings caught my eye as I drove by his gallery. The next time I went by I stopped and had a long discussion with him about his art and inspirations. Since then the dialogue has continued and has been enriching for me; I value greatly his and Isabelle's insights and brilliant originality and imagination. I am delighted to own several of his paintings: they live vibrantly through the seasons brightening the dark days of winter and flourishing in the dazzling light of summer.
